Kaftan Enterprises, a property management company, has grossly overstated damages to a rental unit and refuses to return the security deposit to former tenants. Said company's attorney removed a small claims court claim made by former tenants to general civil court, therefore postponing the entire process the former tenants must follow to get money returned.
This business practice is disgusting. I urge you to reconsider before signing a lease agreement with any of the Kaftan Enterprise properties.
