I bought a so-called scratch and dent but new washer and dryer set and refrigerator from these scam artists in Sept. 2006. I knew something was wrong when I went home and checked the lint trap on the dryer and it looked like it had been used.
Both the washer and dryer quit working after a week after running each only twice. I called and asked for a refund.incredibly, they said I had to bring it back if I wanted another set even though they delivered it. I paid them $90 for delivery, which I later found out to be a ripoff as well.
To add insult to injury, the freezer compartment of my "brand new" refrigerator stopped working a few days later as well.
After mulling over what to do, I called them back again. This time they said they would send out a technician. The technician wasn't able to fix any of the problems at my house, and said I'd have to bring it in to the store and it would cost my $400.
I don't know how these guys stay in business. This is a warning to anyone thinking of shopping at this place. It's just not worth the minimal savings to shop at this place. I would have been much better off taking my money to Lowes or Best Buy and just buying truly new appliances that come with an exchange, return policy or at least a warranty.
