Constant Delays in Furniture Delivery

On Oct. 12, my wife and I purchased a bedroom set for our 14-year-old daughter from Ashley Furniture. We paid in full, a total of $1,882.42 for a full size bed, mattress and box springs, night stand, chest, headboard, footboard and rails. We were told the estimated date of delivery (written on invoice) would be Oct. 18. However, that date came and passed. After not hearing from them for awhile my wife called them on November 4 and was told the furniture had not come in yet and they would notify us once it had. They did say however, that they had the bed and would be willing to deliver that piece of furniture to us. Three days later we received my daughter's bed. The following week we called Ashley again to get some sort of update and was told the furniture be in by the 15th of November. The main problem, they said was finding trucks to deliver in our area. They later called us back and said there had been a delay and that they "hoped" to have the furniture delivered to their warehouse on the 22 of nov. We are still awaiting word and are extremely frustrated by this delay, not to mention my daughter who is sleeping in an empty room. Thank you, Mr. Jody Chaney and Mery Chaney
