Sears Kenmore Refrigerator called 1-800-4-my-home
Ok first of all we bought a Kenmore side-by-side Refrigerator from the Sears in sanford Florida for $1,100 in 2004. It is now October of which makes this refrigerator not that old.
About 8 months ago are two bottoms self's had dry rotted and broke apart (we only have salad dresses on them nothing heavy). We did not buy the sears warranty so I just taped them up. Also the seal around both the doors have stared coming apart. Now Friday are ice maker stopped making ice and by Saturday night our freezer was completely defrosted.
I call 1-800-4-my-home sears repair on Sunday morning I told her that we bought the Refrigerator in 2004 in Florida, I asked if I had a manufacture warranty on it and she said no so I set up an appointment for Monday at 9am-12.
On Monday at 12:25 I called to find out where the repairperson was. I was told that they had me down for 9-12 but I was not assigned a tech to come out and they would set me up with another appointment. I told them No I would find someone around here that could do it today. The repair guy not with sears came down and said that the part he believed was broke should be coved by the manufacture warranty so he did not want to touch it.
I then called sears again to ask about the manufacture warranty after talk I found out they had me down for a Kenmore side-by-side Refrigerator that my mother in law got in Indiana in 1994. She then sent me to talk to another person who was very nice. I told him about no one coming out Monday when I had an appointment and he told me that they would get me a teach out to look at me Refrigerator.
When I asked about the come out fee he told me there would be none as in FREE! He then sent me back to the repair, when I talked to this lady she said what day and time can I get some one out by this time it was 5pm so no one. I told her Tuesday at 9-12 and she said we could do 9-12 only 8-12 so I said OK.
Then so told me a fee of $59.00 for coming out. I told her that the guy I had just talked to told me no fee for the fact that they never showed up that morning. She then got nasty with me and told me that I had not ever had an appointment that morning. I told her I made the appointment Sunday morning I don't like being called a liar, Well she then told me that someone would call me back; needless to say No one called me back.
It is now Tuesday so I called back again to talk to someone at 9am, this time they gave me the floor manger that I told the story to and he had the nerve to tell me he was not responsible for what the others told me. Well I don't know about you but what is a manger for? I then told him that I need someone out today because my. Refrigerator is not working at all now and I have to small kids that living out of a cooler is not working. He told me they could get someone out sometime Thursday.
I then said that I would like to talk to some one higher to complain about how I have talked to all these people and everyone tells me different. He said all I can do is take your number and someone will call you back. Like That Will Happen! I'm so done with SEARS Kenmore Appliances and their unkind repair severs.
I don't like the way I was treated and told different things by everyone I talked too.
