I spent a lot of time looking for a construction that promises good quality workmanship. But have now found that Smith Family Homes of tampa fla. Is not on the list. But if you want lies and excusses that are on the top of the list.
Their construction supervisors and superintendents must be being purchased at walmart or some other discount employment company. The sub-contractors they use are of the lowest quality and cheepist.
You show them cracked and broken concrete drive ways and patio slabs, and they say, " that is what concrete does" it not a warranty problem.
(ok, how come every driveway in thesame subdivision is not cracked and broken in less than 3 months like mine are? How is it that my patio slabs are broken in 3 different places and painted over trying to cover it up, but now are getting wider cracks. Could itr be they did not use any wire in the slab before pouring it (yes) could it be they didn't use any steel dowels to keep the two sparate slabs from sliding apart? (yes)
They also try to cover thing up by putting
paint coatings over it so you can not see it till after you have closed and moved in.
My suggestion to any new lookers of the smith family homes as a furture home sit, stay on top of the entire construction process yourself, because they won't and they don't care.
Watch for cover-ups they are quick to do them.
