To Whom it May Concern: They advertised as the first ISO 9001 builder and "Builder of dreams". Bate and switch on model home where pricing given did not include upgrades and many upgrades no longer available.
False information on Tyvek and construction. Moved heat runs and used infereior construction and supplies on my home vs model home. Moved windows, called things customer like the family room and charged me extra for many things. Did not give hardware, etc agreed on.
No information given on exterior "stucco" on upper level. Turns out just cardboard and not painted, primed and sealed correctly and not flashed currectly. Now molding. Windows not caulked and sealed even though I paid extra for "super seal Insulation". Heating system runs not complete. Not enough cold air returns.
Banged up interior and exterior. When the snow melted the grade showed slopping from neighbors home down to mine and up to wood sideing. They built the home with cheap labor and worked weekends and holidays and got all approvals including certificate of occupancy with great speed from township. Defaulted me and kept my money as my other house had not yet had any offer. Then when I got an offer they listed the home for sale and told me I had to pay $25,000. Had to hire an attorney. Then they gave me a drop dead rate and their friend, loan agent, uped my price and said I had to close on a specific day or lose downpayment again.
At closing hid many problems and large front door brass door knob and lock fell off. No heat on. After moving in found many flaws. They had contractors who did not fix to satisfaction and made some things worse. Water in basement. Sump pump never ran. They scratched hard wood floors and glossed over.
When I complained they went around to some of the homeowners in the neighborhood and slandered me. They refuse to fix my sump pump, cold air and hot air returns, grade, etc. Said I changed grade. Put stucco on incorrectly on top of exterior and it has black mold and is discolored. Started discoloring and molding after just two years. Home will not hold heat and did not insulate in some places. Didn't use paperback insulation or thick enough in walls. Only paperbacked in ceiling.
Etc, etc Spent time and money with an attorney for medication. Heating and cooling bills outrageous.
Hope this helps somebody. Don't believe any builder or their representatives. I followed up as much as possible and they were evasive. Would not put the window on the model on the top floor over looking the small lake - they moved it without my permission and I'm the only house without a window off the back on the top floor.
