On november 21 I ordered off the television (I do not remember the channel) from IGIA, a vacuum cleaner. With it came other stuff. It was all automated, you buy 1 vac & get 1, plus the other things they offered with it all you have to do is pay s&h. Well s&h alone was $72.50, total order was $187.32.
On nov. 23, '05 they took the money from our acct. I would call to find out where it was after quite a few weeks, the lady (and always the same lady would answer the phone) asked if I wanted a refund. The first 3 times I said I need the vacuum I ordered. She finally said they are on back order and it would take a few more weeks. After a few more weeks I called again. This time I wanted the refund. She (same lady) said it will take up to three weeks for the refund to be in my acct. The next time I called, she said it will be in our acct by jan 31'06. Now we cant get them on the phone or by e-mail anymoore. (I filed acomplaint with the Federal Trade Commission). We have called Igia to talk to a supervisor & get a voice mail with no return calls or we get hung up on. I know I can't be the only ones they have done this to. Look at all the money they took from everyone this is ridiculous. I was told by the FTC to write a letter to the company & tell them what I am doing. We can't even get an address. I don't think their web site is operating anymore.
