I bought a washer and dryer on Nov. 23 2010; I was supposed to have a year warranty on it. Home Depot did not have washer and dryer in stock and had to order it from company. We went ahead and paid for the order, they did not get the order until Dec. 1.
When I purchased the washer and dryer, that is when my warranty started, and they were still in Amana warehouse, because they said the warranty started the day i purchased them not the day I received them. Nov. 28th i called 1-866-616-2664 and said my warranty was up. On thanksgiving holiday I immediately called Monday 28th. Amana said they would not cover the warranty. Dec. 7 Home Depot delivered the washer and dryer.
The washer quit working, we called Amana and Amana said our warranty was up and they said our warranty was up because we paid for it Nov. 23.2010 and it should of started on Dec. 7 when it was delivered. Amana still had control or the washer and dryer in there warehouse, and our warranty was being used up when it was in Amana warehouse.
Benton Harbor said our warranty was no good to fix the first problem we had with the washer.
