January Signed contracts with Dave for Ridgemont Model home.
February Property surveyed.
March Steve and Dave came out to look at property, Steve asked that I call Dave when I knew when the bulldozer operator was coming so he could be here to show him what and how to bulldoze the property. Nothing done.
April Called Dave 2 days prior to Mitchell Sammons bulldozing property, as instructed by Steve and Dave, so Steve could show Mitchell exactly how property was to be bulldozed. NO ONE SHOWED UP! Property bulldozed. Deeds recorded at Courthouse.
May Received a call from Francis/Clara to go ahead and get my temporary electric pole, that the crew was going to be out the next week to start the house construction. Needless to say, no one showed up to start construction. Tried at least 4 different occasions to get someone to come out and look at the property. No one would call me back with a day and time. Then Steve said he came and looked at the property and would need more bulldozer work done, that's why he wanted to be there when they bulldozed. I informed him that I did call the office 2 days prior to the work being done, and since the guy doing the work, did it on his off days and had another full time job that I had to get it done when it was convenient for him or not get it done at all.
Still have not received deed from Jim Walters. Called about the deeds, no one knows where they are. I called the courthouse in Lawrence Countydeeds returned to the attorney who had them drawn up. Called Jim Walters back and told them where they were, they would check on them and get back to mefew weeks later got a copy of deed with a note stating not sure where original was at but that the copy they sent me would do.
June Finally, Steve said he would be out to look at the property, to see if they could put the house that I wanted on it, but couldn't come out on that Thursday and Friday, but would call me on Monday to see if he could come out on Tuesday or Wednesday the next week. I said this would be fine. On Monday there was no callneither was there a call on Tuesday or Wednesday or the rest of that week. On Monday of the second week, I called the Huntington office and was told that Steve had gone on vacation the week before and would not be back until the next week.
July Then, I called and set up another appointment for Jim and Steve, at this time I did not know that Dave was no longer with the company, to come measure the property. When the day came, I sat at the property for over 2 hours in the extreme heat waiting for them to show. NO ONE CAME! So I called the office to find out where they were at, not to my unsurprised, they were still there. Jim stated he had forgotten and would be out that afternoon, so I cancelled a dental appointment I had so I could be there and once again went out into the heat to get a repeat second performance of the first. NO ONE SHOWED!
So I called yet again and was told that they would come out the next week but would call with date and time. Of which, you guessed it no one showed. I have been told on at least 3 different occasions by Jim that my contract was going to be cancelled. The second time I was told I called and spoke to Melissa at the Tampa Office. Jim called me later that day and said he and Steve would be out on Friday to measure the property, Friday morning Allen called and said they weren't coming because they couldn't find Steve, but that they had left messages for him to call.
Later that day I talked to Jessica who said they had not been able to reach Steve and for some reason he had not called in that day at all, and that she did not agree with what Steve had done either.
So come Monday morning I called again and Jim said they would be out on Tuesday at 11am, lo and behold he showed. Of course, Steve wasn't with him and instead of measuring the lothe walked off what he thought was the measurements and told me he would leave a listing of what houses he thought would fit on the lot. I told him I would call on Friday afternoon to get the listing. He kept trying to throw the San Antonio at me, which I had told him already 2 or 3 times I did not like or want the San Antonio, especially the way he told me they were going to put it on the lot, with the front of the house facing the left side of the property and the side of the house running parallel with the road. I told him I wanted a house with the front facing the road.
When I called on Friday, he still had not fixed a list of houses. I was told to call back about 4 P.M. When he would be back in the office. At 4:15pm I called and asked to speak to Jim. When he answered he handed me back to Allen and said that Allen was the one I needed to speak to. And again I was offered the American or the SAN ANTONIO. I had asked if I couldn't have the Ridgemont, then I would like the Arlington which was 88 sq ft smaller than the Ridgemont.
Now they have to come back out and get exact measurements to see if I can have that one. That was what was supposed to have been done this past Tuesday. Jim then again told me that he could cancel the contract. Things became heated and I told him I would be calling Tampa office. He said he could have his boss call me and I said that would be fine. He said his boss would be calling me on Monday morning.
