Recently I was told of the twenty-first person to be fired from the Home Depot store where I worked. They fired me as well because I was found to have cancer related to Agent Orange exposure.
When they did that, I lost my insurance and they did not send the COBRA paperwork. When asked, they said that's too bad.
Everyone says to sue, but I would rather people knew about how they treat employees. They are always fixing prices to draw you in and then running out of the product to sell you a better one.
They also teach how to drop shop by dropping things in people's carts and ringing double on items. They talk about theft, but they teach it as well. This latest program gets rid of anyone over 45 and making more than 10 dollars an hour.
Funny, no TV show will touch this issue, but if I have to write a book myself I will get the word out. Watch your receipts when you shop there and look out for falling stuff. How many people have they killed, including children? Too many. The public controls if they are allowed to continue to affect the lives of everyday people trying to make an honest living. Well, you will not find that at Home Depot, because you are too busy watching your back.
