Contracted to do remodeling on two properties. Has not completed work paid for and most recently has not begun work in which an additional $7,500 advance was paid. Mr. Johnson refuses to return phone calls or emails and has abandond the jobsite without notice. Unfinished work totals over $20,000.
Work has been inferior and he has contacted with subs which have not completed their individual jobs. Work paid for and not finished included house painting, vinyl siding, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen cabinetry, doors and more.
He starts and never completes and went on to other items repeating the same leaving a subtantial amount in various levels of completion without ever finishing. Much of the work may need to be started from scratch requiring the full costs.
He has cost us over $30,000 in damages. He has made multiple promises of dates of completion which he never lives up to. At time he left the properties unsecured and wide open for vandalism and theft. He is very irresponsible and not demonstrated any ethical business practices.
