Kitchen remodeling contract signed in April. Work begun week of Oct. 18th. Due to supposed family tragidy. Work to include complete remodeling of kitchen, and installation of hardwood flooring in kitchen and family room and hallway leading to bedrooms. At start of project we requested additional work to be completed to include the installation of hardwood flooring in 4 bedrooms, finishing and installation of 3 closet doors, 3 new entry doors, new cabinets in laundry room to match kitchen and cabinet in guest bathroom and repair of sliding bathroom door.
Despite being under contract and being paid in full for the work Complete Kitchens LLC and William P Duggan have failed to complete the work. My kitchen appliances are not installed. Two of the entry doors are not installed, and one is nailed shut because of incomplete installation. Laundry room cabinets have not been ordered, and the manufacuter of the cabinets is threatening placing a lien on my property because they have not been paid. (I am not the only customer who has cabinets that Complete Kitchens LLC has not paid for... There are 2 other families.) (Originally we were told Complete Kitchens manufactured their own cabinets in a family run business in Benton Harbor Michigan.) Because of the threat of a mechonics lien we now know this to be one of many false statements made by Complete Kitchens.
The floor finishing subcontractor has placed a lien on the property due to non-payment. Anyone considering doing business with Complete Kitchens LLC should check out the Sect. Of State of Illinois web site under the LLC file detail report. Complete Kitchens LLC and William P. Duggan fail to answer either their phone or cell phones and continue to do business in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago. Beware... You will be told many false statements, don't believe any of them.
