NTB offers 5-10$ less on tire price compared to other business and at selected stores provides free tire installation:) good enough to attract people as the over all price with installation would always be less compared to other competitors..
I got my tires changed recently, and while performing the installation the mechanic guy came to me and told me with a worn out break pad in hand and told me that the break pads were damaged and needs to be replaced (I had done full servicing of my vehicle from my dealership the previos week and they did not report my break pads were damaged). It was surprising so i said i do not want the break pads replaced, tehy said its damaged beyond usable condition and would continue to damage my rotors/tires so they wouldnt put it back. They said they would only charge for the parts and labour would be free (as it is for the tire installation) and quoted me $200 for the pads... When the actual bill was printed out actual cost for the pads were 79$ and they charged $120 for labour hence making up for the labour for tire installation too... The front desk person refused to accept that they mentioned labour was free to change the break pads and i was told that it would b $200 for changing the break pads... This is the second time im having a bad experience and would never ever consider going back there, I would rather drag my broken car home than get it fixed at NTB they are liars and would look out every way to ripp you off... in the end anyway you look at it their price would end up way higher than any other competitor though initially they would make it appear as it was teh best deal ever.
