I purchased a Bosch dishwasher from the Duluth, GA store, paying for it on my Visa card last Thursday. Delivery was promised for the next day and I was told to expect a call notifying me of the delivery time between 6:30 and 9:30 AM. No one called, so I called the store at 10:30 or so and was informed that the charge had not gone through in time on my credit card, so they dumped me off the schedule (without calling me!). A guy named Joel told me that he would knock another $60 off the price for my trouble. OK, I calmed down. He scheduled me for Sunday delivery since Saturday was already full. Phone rings at 6:45 AM Sunday morning and I'm told that I'm on the docket for delivery between 6:30 and 9:30. I race out of bed, dress and wait and wait, etc. At 11:30 my phone rings. Same voice as at 6:45 AM. He tells me that I am scheduled for delivery between 6:30 and 9:30. I told him that was two hours ago, where are they? He tells me 9:30 PM. I'm supposed to wait around the entire day on the promise they'll be here before 9:30 PM ON A SUNDAY NIGHT! At 1:30, I call the store again. Now the crew is in Peachtree City (only an hour from here). I told the woman I had plans this afternoon, can she give me some idea when they'll be here. She tells me surely before dark. When I call back at 6 PM (after dark), I'm told I was on the docket for between 6 PM and 9 PM. Why didn't the lady I talked to at 1:30 mention that!!!
While on hold, I'm listening to their ads about their wonderful customer service - no need to wait around they'll call you 40 minutes prior to delivery. 40 minutes before 9 PM, I call again. They are really on their way this time. I ask if this is the crew that started working at 6:30 AM and am told they are. So I'm supposed to trust that these exhausted people aren't going to screw up my installation? I told her to take the dishwasher off my credit card, and I'll never buy another thing from hhgregg.
