Good morning. I am very upset with dell and the way when you call your sales dept and you get someone in a foreign country, and you make a purchase and when i made the call i bought a lab top for my son who just started High School. Order #057251875. When i spoke to the sales person and made the sale i told them i wanted a lab top and a bumper to bumper warranty for four years for my son to get through High school. They said fine so i charged it to my dell credit card, on 12/17 now i happen to just call last week to check on my account and they tell me that i only have a two year warranty on the lab top. First off when i received the lab top on the packing slip should have been what i paid for and what i thought the sales person was putting in the computer their is no break down as to what i paid for on my bill or my packing slip. So the sales person could have only put down that i was only buying a one year warranty instead of a 3 year plus one year you get with the computer which is what a thought i was paying for and should have been on my bill and packing slip. I tried to call customer service about this and got no were so today i called a sales supervisor and all he could give me is 6 months hardware on to my exiting warranty till June 17 and my accidental warranty is to Dec, 17 of in which i thought my bumper to bumper Warranty was till Dec 17 Four years plus one year that came with the computer. This is the second purchase i have made and the sales person told me one thing and at the end was not given what they said on the phone as to what i paid for. For this reason i will not be buying anything else ever from dell, as to what the sales people due when making a sale and what they put in the computer for future reference as to what customers pay for. And get no run down as to what the consumer pays for. Thank You. Mr Frye. I should get what i was told i was getting a four year bumper to bumper accidental warranty.
