After signing up with magic jack for 5 years, I saw that my contract had a 1 year end date. After a long chat with one of their people it was determined That my contract was 5 years but the home number I ported over to them had to be renewed every year at 10 bucks a year. If that was explained up front it may have not been an issue. The fact is it added $40 to the cost without warning. Even ATT does not charge for NOT changing your number. It turned a good experience to a bad one.
