I purchased an ESP5 Kodak printer based on the TV ads I saw on this product. I did not really start using it every day until several months after purchase.in the time it sat idle, the ink evaporated and had to be replaced after only printing about 6 pictures and less than a dozen copies. New cartridges were installed and since that time I have printed approximately 4 pictures and less than 3 dozen copies. Now the print head is saying it is bad. Trying to get a replacement head quickly is an effort in temper control. After calling the number given, talking to service people who are hard to understand, getting a case # (6660186), sending a FAX for proof of purchase and following up to see that the FAX was received, it has been two days and I yet to have a print head on its way to me which will be another several days. As I purchased this printer to use in my business, I can not afford to wait a week for a part that, judging by other comments and complaints I have seen, is a quality issue that appears frequently with this printer. This part should be available at stores right beside the ink cartridges. Readily available. I will get the new print head even if I have to purchase one. However, it will probably be the last one I ever need. At this point I will replace this printer with another brand as soon as I can and avoid the hassle and down time in the future. So far this printer has not lived up to the claims of the TV ad and I have regrets for purchasing it. I doubt that I will ever have another Kodak product or can I recommend Kodak printers. Too bad. It looked like a really nice quality product at a good price.
