Purchased this printer on 6 May at a local Walmart. Today I noticed pages I printed out were blurry, streaked and washed out (I printed about 5 pages of an invoice I needed). I ran maintenance on the printer, calibration and head cleaning, and printed 2 Test Pages that were very poor quality. Called Kodak Tech Support (India, naturally) and eventually he determined the Printer Head was bad and a new one was ordered. This on a printer not yet 90 days old. Plus, for some reason the ink cartridges that I had just installed new 2 days ago went from Full to 15%. That means I will be out another $35 USD to replace them when I get the new print head. I contacted Kodak again to ask if the bad printer head would cause such an excessive ink loss and each of my questions were answered with another question from the Kodak Tech Rep (chat). I finally gave up after s/he alluded that I must have been printing a lot. I would of had to of printed out at least 180 pages this morning to have used that much ink. I think Kodak owes me two ink cartridges plus the printer head. Regardless, I suggest you stay away from Kodak printers. They are cheaply made and look it, and the ink is not that less expensive than other brands. I hooked back up my ink guzzling Dell for the time being and may just stay with it-at least I know it is a pos cause it's a Dell. I expected better out of Kodak.
