I bought an HP laptop from NewEgg.com on 8/17 underneath the "Free Windows-7 Update" plan. Evidently, horsepower caught with Arvato to deal with this company.inside a week of Windows-7 coming in shops, I dutifully posted my info, including a $12 charge and evidence of purchase for that "free" update, to Arvato thru their site. After waiting patiently for all months, I obtained a computerized email stating my purchase have been terminated. I instantly named Arvato at 1-877-280-2279, and was informed to disregard the email. The client service individual explained it had been immediately produced and have been submitted problem. I waited a few more months, and obtained an identical email stating my purchase have been terminated. I named Arvato again, and requested to get a boss, who explained he'd individually look after the isssue (he allegedly confirmed that I'd submitted the right evidence of purchase and also the $12 handling charge). He explained to anticipate my cargo in 3-5 business days. I then waited 10 business days, with no Windows-7. I named Arvato again, again requested to talk to a boss, and was again informed I'd get the item in 3-5 business days.By today, 10 times next last-call, I still haven't obtained my "free" update, which at this time has cost me more in my own period and disappointment than Windows-7 Supreme might have price at retail.
When you have an option, and that I think many customers do, I'd prevent Arvato such as the trouble - they obviously have no idea what they're performing, and evidently skipped the periods on customer support that are required in many businesses nowadays.
