Return of defective merchandise - External Hard Drive

Contacted Buy.com regarding this on 12/18—still have not received shipping labels. First person I spoke to on 12/18 said three business days. On 12/30 I was told it would be expeditied and I would receive them in 1-3 days. On 1/5 I was told that it would take up to five busienss days, and that the labels were processed on 1/2/09. I was qalso told that the information I was given in the first two phone calls was wrong. Under the terms of the warranty I'm supposed to receive a gift card so that I can replace the item. I want a either a bank check or a certified check from them so I can purchase my hard drive from a reputable company. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB in their area.
