I purchased an Acer aspire notebook 3690-2970. It is cheap but if you don't purchase more storage it wont work. The DVD-drive fails whatsoever. Acer understands this-but not repairing it. Should you invest your cash to send it for them they'll attempt to repair it. I have seen horror stories about this. Prevent ACER 3690-2970 regardless of how inexpensive with or without discounts.
