Bought an Aspire One for me (grad student) and my son (autism). Six months after purchase the screen cracked.netbook was still under warranty so I sent it to Repair Center in Texas per ACER Repair Center website (shipping $50). Received a call from Repair Center stating that cracked screens are not under warranty and that I would have to pay $200 to get it fixed (which was more than it cost) and if I did not want them to fix it I would have to pay additional shipping fees if I wanted them to send it back. Way to go ACER.
