Stolen i7 3770 processor and very damaged ASRock motherboard

Sorry it has taken me so long to get this review written, but I was too busy dealing with Newegg's crap. On 5/23 I ordered some computer parts. When they arrived a friend and I put it together, the computer turned on but didn't display anything. I got another friend to come over and help fix it cause he knew more about computers. He did more debugging and the problem was still there.

So I returned the motherboard and processor because I was unsure of which one was the problem. I put the processor in the box it came in with the heatsink fan and put everything exactly as it came. When Newegg got back to me, apparently my processor was "not in the box" and that my motherboard now had bent socket pins that were not there before. The motherboard was made by ASRock. However, I noticed that they changed the RMA number for the processor and that the package was in the RMA warehouse for over 3 days before they even did anything with it. The processor is an I7 3770 and was roughly $320, so something like that doesn't just go missing. I made some calls and talked to the manager named Gilbert and he was very unhelpful, basically telling me to file a complaint with the post office as if it was there problem. The only problem with that is that apparently if you don't buy insurance you can't file a complaint, which is just a load of crap. So I am basically out $450 at this point.

When I received my motherboard and heatsink fan, I noticed that the box they put the heatsink fan in was not the same box I had returned it in, it didn't even have the side component where the processor went.

The motherboard I examined and I noticed there were a lot of bent pins, I would have noticed this if they were bent before I returned it. I took a closer examination and noticed that the pins were bent in several different directions even though some were close to each other and there would be no possible way, according to physics, that the pins could be bent in this manner just by putting on the processor. It wasn't like a huge section of pins that were bent. This was about a dozen pins bent here and there in different directions. This wasn't done by me or a friend putting on the processor, this was done by someone deliberately pushing the pins in that direction and not really thinking about how physics works. I have tried talking to my bank, but that didn't help. I've filed complaints with the BBB and the general attorney, none of which helped.

I wrote an essay and have gathered a lot of other information against Newegg in hopes of getting my money back and to no prevail. I ended up spending somewhere between $450 - 500 on the parts shipping and sending my information to help get my money back. Nothing worked. On top of all of this, they have suspended my account.

I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND NEWEGG, NEVER BUY FROM THEM. They will cheat you out of your product and even sell you used goods as "new". Newegg is comprised of nothing more than a bunch of thieves, from what I have read about users with similar experiences and from my own experiences of dealing with Newegg. The customer service is COMPLETE crap. Do not buy from them they will rip you off.
