Had to leave town early due to the impending birth of my first grandchild. My lease was expiring during the time I was going to be away and I was not going to be available for the inspection. I contacted the dealer and he told me to bring the car in early and the inspection could be done there. I heard nothing about any difficulties with the inspection until I returned home and found a notice from Nissan that due to gouges on all 4 wheels of the vehicle I owed them $2,320.
I had taken pictures of my car before turning it in and there were no gouges on the wheel. I asked them to provide me with proof of the damage and they said they only had inspection report. I told them they would not get paid until I had proof. I have received nothing but they have turned this information over to the credit bureau. It's not right that they can just manufacture charges and then turn you into the credit bureau if you don't pay.
