My husband and I leased a Nissan Maxima from Scott nissan in Ardmore, PA in 1995... We returned the car at the end of the lease in 1998... There were no problems at the time... A few months later Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp sent us a ltter saying we owed them roughly $3,100 in "wear and tear"!!! We agreed with them to pay $900 in settlement, and paid it in January of 1999... Well, Nissan never settled with us like they said they would... We just tried to get a student loan and were denied because Nissan has on my husbands credit report that he still owes them $2,287!!! And we have never received a piece of correspondance in YEARS!!! We were shocked by this breach of agreement and extortion from them... We have a family and no money to pay them! And now we can not get a loan because they are saying we owe them money that we do not - and they never even told us we owed them NEVER NISSAN!!! They are crooks who are ruining our life!!! Do not buy a nissan!!!
