I sent my son to have the oil changed and tires rotated. There was a coupon for a free rotation and another for a discounted oil change. First they did not want to honor both coupons. They said only one would be honored at a time. My son said that he would come back in five minutes for the rotation. He was told that the car did not need a rotation, that the better tires were already on the front. My son came home and told me what happened. I sent him back to demand a rotation.
They were just trying to weasel out of the free rotation. They finally did it under my son's watchful eye. After they finished my son told me he saw the "mechanic" pick up the tool for removing the tire balancing weights and do something to the front left of the car. He then threw something on the ground. When the car had been lowered and ready to go my sonent and picked up what had been thrown down. It was a balancing weight. The " mechanic" had the gall to say with a smirk that the tires would probably wear out now. He had not noticed that my son had picked up the weight.
I went back to confront them. They deied everything... Obviously. Needless to say I shall never go back there again and I suggest that others avoid Speedy as well.
