In February of 09head On Feb 2 I had my motor home towed to JTF RV super center by a towing service they use because the engine had a blown head gasket. After the mechanics disassembled the engine and removed the heads; it was discovered that the cylinder block and wall of two cylinders were badly burned which required an engine replacement. I was told by the service attendant and business operator that they would be able to remove old engine and install a remanufactured engine; and that it would require that they would have to cut the front fiberglass clip off in order to make the engine change. Because of my own experience as a 11year auto body repairman I agreed to pay a price of $7,163.97; knowing that fiber glass and paint work is time consuming and costly. After paying for the initial towing and engine discovery charges, I also paid deposit for engine and subsequent additional money for labor costs.
