I had $400 worth of tires put on my car the end of April and a four wheel tire alignment done from Mavis in Hudson NY. Yesterday I go to the mavis in Great Barrington Mass. As I started to here my brakes making a noise. They proceed to change the breaks and I went around to ask them to rotate the tires also. The tech Dave (nice guy) tells me I wanted to talk to you about that... Your back tires are shot. Sure enough an inch or 2 of wire is showing all the way around both tires. He proceeds to tell me it is due to needing an alignment badly. I tell him I had one done in end of April beginning of may and he says there was no way it could have been done just by looking at how rusted the nuts and bolts are, am I sure the garage actually brought it in. I then told him it was another Mavis and that it was in fact in the back hence the new tires. They called the other Mavis and I was told that they would make good on the tires and an alignment all I had to do is speak to Andy the manager. I call the other Mavis and speak to the manager Andy who then proceeds to give me a run around (he's done this to me before on another matter that ended up being very costly on my end thanks to them) He asks me how many miles are on the car. I tell him then he asks how many miles on it when I had tires done... Umm how the heck do I know... Look it up! Not only that what does it have to do with the car not being aligned as paid for and 2 tires with 60k mi treads that are shot. He then proceeds to tell me he will be nice enough to have it looked at but can not guarantee they will do anything as he isnt sure it's an alignment problem or their fault. I tell him another Mavis had given me all the info and he still proceeds to blow me off. NOT happy!!!
