I went in for my normal 3000 mile oil change and it was strongly suggested that I get an engine flush as well. I have never had a single engine problem out of my car and it is very well taken care of. So therefore I opted to receive this engine flush as suggested and no more than 30 miles later my engine slung a rod. I never would have considered that flushing my engine would cause this to happen until the mechanic as well as two other mechanics checked out my oil pan and engine and said that the flush was done incorrectly and was not completely cleaned properly afterwards.
So now I am without a running car and the company says that it’s not their problem. I would really love to know how it’s not their problem when I have never had engine problems or anything else go wrong like that until this flush was done.
