We decided to purchase a vehicle from Broadway Auto Sales for our family. We have never purchased a new car so we did not expect all this. We found online a nice suv so we went down to Broadway Auto Sales. The vehicle was 10,950. We decided to go for it and fianace it we put 4000 down and had a trade in which was for 400. We dont have the best credit so we had to go to a easier bank but little did we know we were being ripped off.
The dealer kept calling back asking for more money and we didn't under stand we were only finacing about 7000. So we told him we didnt have any more. We get down there and reading over the paper work it said the car was 14,950 and there was no trade offer on there and only 3500 for down payment. So I said something the guy then told us thats with your finaces charges thats why and the bank dont except trade offers so they cut me a check for 400 so we thought ok lets go for it.instead of contacting the bank the guy tricked us and pretended he had someone on the phone from the bank and the guy said yes he is right so we sign the paper work. They then told me they had to inspect the car by law which later i found out that was a lie. We asked for the 400 dollars he then told me he had to charge me for getting my plates so I couldnt have the 400. We fought with him but nothing.
So the car passed inspection we picked the car up and the brakes where no good we had loud banging noise so we called the dealership who then began to tell me it not his problem. After calling and telling him it against the law for lemon law he then called and made a appt for it to be checked. Another big mistake
We bring it to his friend in Revere call Broadway auto performance to be checked he then tells us it could be just rotors and brakes we will replace them with 100 deductable. Fine We went back Tuesday to get replaced and the noise was there so he found a loose control arm and said he fixed it. I asked for copys of the paper work and then noticed he put the left side so i asked him to sign it and put the right side because the left side was fine he then told me o no ask tom to do that. I will not. So i then knew my car was un safe. I called dealership and they gave me the run around told me there nothing wrong and come get the reciept yet everytime i went they dont know where it is. Next day what you know brakes are squeeling. He tells me its my problem not his. I am now taking it to a new mechaninc to be looked at and have to take it from there involving the courts. Rob Tom and and Matt they took advatage of us and its not right. I have three small children and they put my family in danger by selling us a lemon.
