I bought a car from Auto-Torium of Salem and upon signing loan papers i asked if that included my sales tax and gap ins. The dealer told me many times yes it did i was all set. He also told me he would call when the plates came in as i was driving off with the car.
Two weeks later i called and asked what was going on with my plates that's when i was told they couldn't do the sales tax it was a MA/Nh thing then i told him why didn't he tell me this. He said he just found out that Saturday. When i asked him why am i paying for a 17000 loan when the car was 16500 he told be that was business
After talking to the GM Dan Mullen who was very rude told us we should have read the papers better and that was are fault and we never discussed the sales tax with the loan (I did on many of times) we kept getting difrent story's that's when i decided if they were going to misrepresent their self and lie i would contact the BBB and he said go right ahead.
I told them a number of time i wanted my tax in the loan they said fine if i had known i would have to pay myself i would have not done business with them. They also told us they took 10000 of the price (2003 Honda Odssey with minor body work) We called two GM and neither want to work with us on this issue of misrepresentation.
On top of that they gave me 20 day temp. Plates that are illegal in MA i just come to find out when i get a notice of cancellation from my isn. Company and now i cant register it cause they didn't dive me all my paper work i need to do so
