Odybre Hidden fees and refuses to explain

Went to this place to check a 2008 Nissan Altima coupe 2.5s (black) Was advertised being 78k with a price tag of $13877 which was a decen deal.

Right after starting the car, break light came on where he (one of the brothers) said he will get it repaired and, will get e-tested and certified.

Also car turned out to be 81k (only 3000km more then advertised but still was a little fishy)

Took the car for a short drive where dealer asked not to get on the highway because of busy traffic and kept talking, ignoring questions about the rattling sound coming from the passenger side.

After the short test drive we moved into the trailer office to talk about the payment and other details. He said it will be about 110 or there abouts for plates and something else and, asked for 499 for the e-test and certification.

Also while asking about how come the bumper and the hood didn't even have a single scratch or a single rock mark he quickly told a story about, they got the bumper changed because of some scratch and it was cheaper to claim it from insurance and put a new bumper on rather then getting it repainted.

When I asked for the report for the car he at first kept promising it was all checked in April by Nissan dealer and there were absolutely no issues (but now the breaks of course as the light came on for it). After insisting on seeing the papers he showed the paper without even letting me hold it (we had a little thug of war with the paper while I was trying to grab it from him).

This is when a second guy came in (older brother) he kept promising up and down there is no problem with the car whatsoever ever and if I want to waste another 125 I can take the car back to Nissan to get it inspected again.

As I was in a rush I said I will be coming back the next day possibly to close the deal.

The next morning before going all the way there I wanted to give them a call to confirm what this second 499 e-test/safety payment is for (499 for e-test and safety 500 deposit 109 for plates and something else)

This third brother answered the phone and when I asked why I am paying another 499 after paying deposit and plates ect. He told me it is for the mechanic to diagnose if anything is wrong. And he gave me the example "ball joint is lose, breaks need repair, stop light bulb is burnt it is all included in this price"

When I asked so are these things wrong? So am I paying for these repairs and if they are trying to sell me a car that is not safe for road. He got really upset repeating it over and over nothing is wrong with the car but when I ask then why is it so expensive for e-test/safety he keeps repeating its for repairs.

Anyway nothing he was explaining was making sense and he started yelling at me on the phone and I don't understand what he is saying then I shouldn't bother.

I told him I will not bother. (today I got my Nissan from the actual dealer) everything was included in their price. They didn't even ask for a penny for e-test or cert or safety.

Well after all this was a really bad experience. I hope someone doesn't get scammed by these people and, if they do I hope they won't get away with such things.
