I made 3 trips to the Stevens Creek Volkswagen dealer. The first time my daughter and I found 2 Nissan Sentra's both 2005 one white with 23,000 miles and the other black with 43,000 miles and a spoiler. I liked the white one best with low mileage, but went home to decide. I test drove the white one but not the black.
The second time I told Reuben I would buy one of the cars only if they would offer a price of $9500.00 including tax, regis. Tags, etc. The manager brought me out a print-out changing the price to $9250.00 with me paying the tax, regis. Tags. Etc. And I did not notice the print-out was the wrong black car I had decided on, until I got home and noticed the print-out was for a 2004 Nissan Sentra that had a different VIN number from 2005 Nissan Sentra black with the spoiler. I asked to test drive the black Nissan Sentra, thinking it was the 2005 with the spoiler and Reuben could not find the keys.
I was called by Aaron from the car dealer telling me the manager Mike had agreed to my offer of $9500.00 out the door and I could come pick up my car on Wednesday. When I arrived the 2004 Nissan Sentra was sitting in front for me and I told Aaron this is not the car I wanted, what happened to the spoiler, did they take it off? Aaron then went and got the one with the spoiler and when I was checking out paying for the car, etc. Aaron told me there was a problem the 2004 Black Nissan Sentra was released for sale, but the computer would not release the 2005 Black Nissan Sentra with the spoiler.
Aaron then drove me home telling me he would check it out on Friday and see what the problem was and bring the car to my home with all the paperwork.
It is now 7 P Friday and I have heard nothing.
