I purchased a warranty on a used car from C.A.R. S Protection Plus. A few days later the car was running a little hot so we added anti freeze. It ran fine for a few more days when it ran hot again. We added more anti freeze and took it to our mechanic, thinking it was a hose. It turned out to be the head.
We weren't worried, since our warrenty should cover tha repair.
We were told that since we had not driven the car 1000 miles, we must have already known about the problem when we purchased it. When the dealer called the company, he was told our policy was not in effect when we started having the problem, even though we purchased the car and warrenty on the same day.
Don't be taken in by this company. They will not refund your money even when they will not pay a legitimate claim
