My mom Purchased Kia sportage 2001 ex model, head gasket, water pump, radiator, thermostate all blown at 101,053 miles.
Had taken the car in for repair 4 previouse time warrenty covered most of the cost except labor. Last time was 1,053 miles over the warrenty company made no exceptions. Even though they had replaced work before.
Spent 2,950.00 to repair damage, exactly 12 months and 10 days later same head gasket sent in for repair blew. Company stated would not cover under warrenty becuse it was 10 days expired. Car has only been driven 19587. SO, feel like the work was done only to out live warrenty so that i maybe charged again.
Also, took car to personal michanic, who says a compleate new engine would have cost me 500 less than the repairs, for 12 months ago.
