Kept bike longer than stated, did shady work, left me to run out of gas

I had the worst service experience ever with these guys. I dropped my motorcycle off on Saturday morning at 10am to have them check my rotor and cam chain tensioner. A service manager named Mike told me he'd have it checked out and call me with an estimate. I asked him if they could have it by the end of the day because I use my motorcycle as my transport to work. He said he'd call and let me know. I planned to pick the bike up if they couldn't have it to me on the same day. After not hearing anything by 3:30pm, I called to have a woman tell me that the service people had gone home for the day and that I couldn't pick up my bike because it was in pieces. She then told me the service people wouldn't be back in until Tuesday morning!

I had to rent a car to get to work. I called Tuesday and he told me he wanted to replace the rotor and also do a valve adjustment. I had taken it to two other shops recently for unrelated issues and neither had mentioned anything being off with the valve tuning. I agreed to both anyway and asked if they could have it by the end of the day. He said he'd call and let me know. I called several times throughout the day and he kept putting me off until finally they left for the day, again, without telling me. The voice-mailbox was full. Wow.

I called and talked to him on Wednesday and he said he'd call to tell me the bike was ready. He didn't. I finally called at 4:30 and they said the bike was ready. It had now taken them 3 working days to replace a rotor and tune the valves.

I picked it up and he told me he'd done an oil change for free (without asking me). It had only been 1500 miles since my last one and he used regular oil when I usually use half-synthetic. He offered to change it again, but I just wanted to get as far from him and I could.

Riding away, the bike sounded strange. I've been riding the same model Ninja for 20 years and I'd never heard one sound like it does. I decided I'd see how it performed because I didn't have any more time to waste on this guy.

Later I was headed out to meet friends when I appeared to run out of gas on the highway. I thought this was strange because according to my spedometer I'd only gone 50 miles on my current tank. I reached down to switch it to reserve and found it was already on reserve (I did not switch it previously). So, somehow these guys burned through (or siphoned?) 3.5 gallons of gas out of my tank and then left it on reserve so that when I was suprised to ran out of gas I'd have to push it 2 miles to a gas station.

In they end they cost me $170 in rental car fees, days of worry, a night out, and a tank of gas. Run, don't walk, away from this place.
