I am an active duty service member in the Army. I was contacted my Professional Moving Solutions after requesting a quote online. I was quoted for a $200 deposit, and $650 cash on delivery from Ft. Irwin, CA to Dahlonega, GA. I made it very clear that I needed the car picked up by the 28th of September. On the 24th of September I contacted them to see if they had found a carrier yet, they had not but assured me they would.By the 28th, there was still no carrier and I had to leave. I had no choice so I left the car with a friend. When I arrived in Atlanta on the 30th I was contacted again. They stated they found a carrier but it would cost me an additional $100. Though unhappy I agreed. On the 2nd of October I was contacted by the driver who stated he could not drive to Ft. Irwin unless I gave him an additional $200. Needless to say I did not comply with his offer. I tried to contact Professional Moving Solutions but it was a Sunday, and I could not reach anyone. I called first thing Monday the 3rd. I informed them what happened, and asked for my $200 deposit back. They stated they still had time to find me a carrier. After being late, raising the price once, and finding a carrier who tried to extort me for an additional $200 I could not continue to do business with them. They still refuse to take any responsibility for their poor customer service, and refuse to pay back my deposit.
