Ripoff refuses to refund money on WRONG PART sold to me with receipt proving the purchase!

About a week or so ago, I went to the Baton Rouge Pep Boys to get a part for my AC in my car. I didn't realize it was the wrong part until I got home (which is like two minutes from the store) and went to take it back.

The part I needed they DID NOT stock. When I went to the counter to get a refund, the clerk said that it had to be in its original package. Well... Duuuh! The packaging was destroyed when I opened it. I had not intended on getting a refund, just THE RIGHT PART.

The clerk ran me up not 10 minutes prior to my return. She KNEW full well that I bought that part from thier store... HELL, no one else, save for the dealership, sells it!

It was only $8.99 tax but it's the principle thing... And that fact I have a part I CAN'T use.
