I purchased a vehicle at Lupient Kia in Minneapolis 3 months ago from out of state with milage in the late 60k range. When I arrived it had body damage that I was not informed of. On the drive home the car had very loud wind noise coming from a bad windshield replacement. Come to find out now, the car also has a bad piston and the short block needs to be replaced.
Now I need a new motor in a car I just purchased 3 months ago.installation of a new motor would cost me half what the vehicle is worth. I was told by a salesman to expect a call from the manager, haven't heard a word yet.
Typically, a car with this low of milage doesn't have nearly any of these problems. It's not even due for a timing belt yet. I couldn't have even purchased a warranty for it because I'm from out of state and I realize there are shady car dealerships out there, but I expected more from an a legitimate dealer.
