I purchased a timing chain kit from autozone, after installing the kit the 94 Nissan pickup ran fine, but about about 1 week the engine started making a noise, I had to drive the vehicle 40 miles one way each day to work and thought I would check out the problem on the weekend. On Wednesday on the way home the vehicle jumped timing. After tearing the motor down for the second time in too weeks I found the tensioner wasn't working at all, my timing chain was very loose, that was what was causing the noise, I returned the part to autozone, reinstalled the new part and after starting the motor I realized that when the vehicle jumped timing it caused the motor to spin a bearing. I am now faced with a much more serious problem without the funds to fix it. The motor has to come out of the vehicle. Autozone says its not their problem.
