From you flowers
Horrible

Three weeks PRIOR to Mother's Day, I ordered 2 sets of flowers to be delivered to 2 separate addresses ON Mother's Day. Naturally, I paid a hefty shipping fee, as it was a "holiday", but I had no problems with that. When Mothers Day came around, one set of flowers was delivered, the other was not. I called From You Flowers around 6pm to inquire about the status of my delivery and after 18 minutes of waiting to speak to someone I was told "due to high volumes of orders, my order had not been delivered yet (DUH! -that's why I'm calling) but that the florists were working late and my order WAS STILL SCHEDULED for delivery that day". The day AFTER MOther's Day, my order had still NOT arrived so I called the company again only to be told that they were very sorry and were looking into it. TWO DAYS after Mothers day my order was finally delivered. I explained to FYF that this was unacceptable and that I would like to be reimbursed at least a portion of my delivery fee. They said that they were "very sorry" and they couldn't reimburse the delivery fee but the would personally call the recipient and apologize profusely and give me a $15 gift card towards my next order. I told that that the phone call would be great but that I would NOT be ordering from the again. They continued to apologize but refuse to reimburse me. I was ABSOLUTELY APPALLED when I got a call from my mother telling me that she had received a call from someone at From You Flowers and the employee stated "the company attempted to make the delivery for 2 days but no one answered the door so the flowers were returned to the store". This was obviously a COMPLETE FALICY because my mother had been home for the those 2 days in question taking care of a friend who had fallen ill, and not to mention, even if that were the case, neither she nor I received a phone call or delivery notice stating that the the company attempted to delivery the arrangement. I'm embarrassed to admit that when I received my gift card via email, I actually used it. I was tempted to delete it, but I'm a believer in second chances and I figured that after the DEPLORABLE service I received the first time, surely the second time would be much better, assuming the want to retain business and try to make their customers happy. WRONG! My mom had surgery yesterday and a few days I ago I used the gift card to purchase another arrangement to be delivered THE DAY OF MY MOTHERS SURGERY, along with a note that said "IN the event that no one answers the door, PLEASE LEAVE THE DELIVERY ON THE FRONT STEPS. My mother just had surgery so she probably won't be able to get to the door immediately". This company went so far as to send me an email RESPONDING to my request to say that they would be happy to accommodate my request. Yesterday afternoon I received an email stating that my arrangement had been delivered but when I spoke to my mom, she said she hadn't gotten any visitors or delivers at all yesterday!!! At 9pm last night I called FYF and was on hold for 14 minutes. I was finally connected with a real person who explained to me that the florist "attempted to deliver the flowers but no one was home and they didn't want to leave the flowers in the heat so they were returned to the shop". I was baffled by this considering I sent an email, and was responded to, regarding specific instructions. Additionally, this company LIED again by sending me a "DELIVERY CONFIRMATION EMAIL" for flowers that had NOT been delivered!!! Again, there was NO phone call, no "attempted delivery notice" on the door, nothing! The end result of my conversation with an employee at this company last night was that the flowers would be delivered FIRST THING this morning, with a phone call to me letting me know they had been delivered, that the employee would personally call my mother to apologize and would take 10% off my order. I again asked for the shipping fee to be reimbursed but was told that FYF could not do that. I explained to the employee that if they flowers did not arrive first thing in the morning, I didn't want them to be delivered at all, also shared with her the details of the horrible phone call the recipient received last time and requested that if the company was going to place a phone call, it should be nothing more than profusely apologizing, and not blaming or lying to my mom about their "attempts" to deliver the flowers. It is now almost 9:30am and I am awaiting a phone call.
