I went to a Timber's Game and received a "ticket" from Pacific Audit Solutions (PAS). They alleged that I did not properly display my parking ticket.
After showing them a picture of the ticket, my license plate and Timber's stub - they finally excused the parking fine and late fee. However, they said that they include a $34 fee when they write a ticket. They do this because the City of Portland does it... And they follow the City of Portland's ordinances. No, the fee does not go the the City of Portland.
I told them that the initial ticket was bogus, and so any other fines associated with the initial ticket are bogus, too. The response to me was that I didn't prove that I had paid within 30 days, so I now owe $68 and have been sent to collections.
I asked them to please send to me a picture of the improperly displayed parking ticket and was told that they did not have a picture, but rather it is upon me to prove that I did display the parking ticket properly...
WOW. This is the biggest rip off.in the end, Tracy The Manager hung up on me. I am going to write a formal letter to the collections agency disagreeing with the chargers and have a cocktail.
