I bought my Focus ZX3 back in July. My focus is a 2000. I got it with only 9,000 Miles on it. It is now 2004 and I have had SEVERAL MAJOR problems with my vehicle. Bearings (RECALL), HEAD Replaced, Fuel pump & filter (Recall), The latch on my driver seat twice, Cable to battery (recall), Windshield wiper motor (recall)... Ect... I'm lucky that I purchased Extended Warantee with my vehicle so everything has only cost me the Warantee deductable. (which I also feel is very high!) But what scares me is my warantee will be out at 75,000 Miles and I'm allready at 59,000 miles. What will break next is kind of the mind set I have now, my confidence it lost. I have been reading up on consumer complaints and reports about this car and every thing I have had read have the same problems as me. I have had to replace my rotors and brakes every year since I have had this car over $300.00 in work everytime and people have been giving me a hard time saying it is me... Well now that I have read up on my car I see I'm not the only one with this promblem there is an actual website called... Www.fordfocusbrakeproblems.com This concerns me, if these brakes/Rotors are a factory defect, I would love to have my money refunded to me. I feel like I am at a loss. I am upside down on my car right now so I feel kind of stuck with a car that I no longer feel confident in it's reliability. I currently am reading up on the Lemon laws of Texas to see if my car falls under this catagory. I will write more when I have more information. If anyone has any comments to add or information to give me please I would love to hear.
