I sent a written complaint on October 24 to headquarters in Warren, MI. It briefly stated that my Cadillac Catera had stopped running and had been in two shops for repairs. It could not be repaired.
I was then notified that a recall had been issued but I never receieved one. I also let them know that the dealership in Little Rock, AR offered very little help.
After several months pass, I receieved compensation for one mechanical bill totaling $1605.86. I still owed another mechanical bill of $1673.95, which was disallowed.
The devastating part of this nightmare is that I allowed the lending institution to pick up the car and sell it. And I am still paying for a car that I do not have. The car was a defective car. I owe at least $9000.
