Some history to start this thread. I stopped in with this company to get my tires rotated and balanced in August. That didnt go so well. The broke 3 lug nuts and only rotated the tires, no balance. I was upset, but chalked that up to just a bad day and a bad mechanic.
I figured that I would never let them do any actual work to my cars at that point. I figured they could state inspections, but that was all.
So here comes that time to get my wife's vehicle inspected. A well maintained Honda 2006 CRV with 40k miles on it. Here came the ValPak in the mail and it had a coupon for the $6 inspection in it. I decided that since they hosed my car and took my money on that deal, time to let them suffer through an inspection and get only the $6 for their time.
I guess they figured my wife was a sucker and stupid. We drop her car off and leave it that morning. They call in a couple hours and tell me it won't pass. I ask why? Serpentine belt is shot and headlights are out of adjustment. I told the to go ahead and fail it, I don't want them touching anything on her car. So they did put a rejection sticker on it. Big no no with this state when a proper inspection is not done.
