My fiancee and I first called this dealership to ask if it was worth an hour and a half drive up there to look at this cargo van. We asked numerous times if the van ran good, how the transmission was, was it inspected, etc. We were told yes, it would be worth the drive. Well we drove 90 miles there, in hopes we were told the truth. Unfortunately, we weren't. The Van's inspection ran out in the transmission was slipping and whenever put in reverse the van stalled.
First they told my fiancee the reason was that it was sitting on a steep incline out in the lot, even though the lot was a flat surface. Then they said it's been sitting for awhile so that's why. We then took a look at the vehicle, the windshield was broken in 3 places, the dashboard inside had buttons hanging there and there was a large rusted hole in the back. We attempted to take the vehicle for a test drive, it stalled out on us 3 times.
So we took it back to the dealership. Where my fiancee asked about the inspection. The man stated that if we paid full price ($1995) we would have it inspected. So we asked them so new tires will be placed, the windshield will be replaced, it will be fixed from stalling and the rust hole in the back will be fixed? We also told them that we will take it down the road and pay for a inspection at a well known auto shop and if it fails inspection we will be reporting it.
The gentleman told us he wasn't interested in inspecting it anymore and we could have it for $1500. My fiancee told them no. At the end we were called "Fat F*cks"and told to "Get the f*ck off the lot" The also had 4 gentleman around our car when we attempted to leave, yelling obscenities at us.
