Last month we began recieving letters stating that we needed to show proof to our finance company (pfs) that the car they financed us was insured with full coverage and that the deuctable was 500 dolars. I was like ok no problem, the car has never failed to have insurance since we bought it in Dec of 08 so I let the insurance broker know that they needed that info, and she faxed it in, a couple weeks passed and we recieved a threatening letter stating that if they didn't see that proof that they were going to purchase insurance for the car dating back to January 9th of 2010 and spanning through January 9 and that the car payment was gonna go up from 323.49 per month to 434.15 for a period of 12 months to cover this insurance which we did not approve or need. I once again had my insurance broker fax in the documents. I spoke with someone at pfs financial and asked if they recieved our insurance information and she said yes that everything was fine, and on that same day in the mail I recieved a thick packet in the mail with a new insurance policy for the time they had threatened and informed us that the payment would go up. I was so angry at this as I felt we were violated by this third party company who obviously did not do their research correctly. Then I called them to complain about the whole situation, and letting them know that the car has always had full coverage insurance, I had all the insurance information ready in front of me and the woman asked me for it and couldn't understand me and refused to talk to me about my husbands car, this is texas so I have say in my husbands bills, anyway aside from that I went ahead and handed him the phone. He went on to tell her the information for the policies and she put him on hold to verify them. Then she came back on the lina and told him that they wouldn't give her any information because they were not the lien holder or the owner of the vehicle, so my question was how is it that these people Allied Solutions can go out and insure our car, and change what our monthly car payment is going to be and they are nobodies! So she comes back and asks for our insurance brokers number my husband gives it to her and she calls and verifies that we were telling the truth so they are cancelling that policy they bought. I am not very easily scammed so I continued to push for them to correct this but how many more people are out there who they are scamming and don't do nothing about it? These types of buisness must be stopped immediately!
