I ordered a Car Insurance policy through Allied Insurance on May 2. Their rates were more than half the rest of the insurance companies i looked into.
They pulled my credit profile before signing me up for the policy. They said i had low but NOT bad credit. They said i would still qualify for the policy, so they went ahead and signed me up. At that point i wrote a check for the first two months of insurance in the amount of $293.
Thinking nothing more about it i left the office and assumed i had insurance, which i did until May 28, when i received a letter in the mail stating that my policy was cancelled effective on June 25.
After contacting them on the phone and getting yelled at, they told me that i had too low of credit and that since i was under 25 they were cacelling my insurance.
This company is horrible to deal with. I suggest that no even glances at their rates cause they WILL screw you in the end.
Now i am force to look for new insurance which in turn will lower my credit score even more. And not only that i am going to have to front two months worth of insurance to a new company.
Stay away from ALLIED INSURANCE they will rip you off.
