My car insurance lapsed for a period of a few months. Fifth Third carried their own insurance on my car. How long can they carry the coverage? I placed insurance back on the car however they are still charging me every month for their insurance!!! My agency has faxed proof of insurance and I have sent them all the required information. (policy) Can they still force me to pay the high amount each month even though I have my own coverage and can and have proved it??? If anyone knows please help!!!
