When I reserved a moving truck with U-Haul, I was charged the "daily" rate and then was told that there might not be a truck available and if there was, I could only have it for 6 hours. I would still pay the 24 hour rate though.
I said, Okay, then let me pay for 2-6 hour periods. They said, No you will have to bring it back after the 6 hours are up and get another truck. I said, but what if there are no trucks available when I return the first truck. They said, oh well. You see how busy we are.
I decided to go to another truck rental company. They can keep the 6 hour truck.
